So Obama lied about being able to keep your healthcare plan under Obamacare. Big deal the whole thing was a lie. The idea that it would lower costs while expanding coverage and avoid rationing was the biggest lie of them all. Plenty of people were pointing out the flaws back in 2009. Most Americans were either still enthralled with the Dear Leader or just weren’t paying attention.
What strikes me as truly amazing, however, is the Obama Regime’s insistence that this wasn’t a lie. Now I don’t actually expect the puppet-in-chief to come out and actually say “I lied” or even “I mislead the American people” or anything like that. He’s a politician after all. But considering how that whole line “If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor” was central to selling this fascist scheme and was repeated over and over again, you’d think even this megalomaniac would admit to having “misspoke” or “not being as clear as he should have been” or in some small way acknowledging this statement was a mistake. Incredibly, however, he just says he never said that. He says he added “if your plan doesn’t change” at the end of the sentence despite 29 videotaped speeches where he did not say that part at the end, all of which are available online for anyone who knows how to use google.
This is quite astonishing, even for Obama. I guess his handlers figure there are enough people who openly worship this figurehead that he can say any outrageous lie he wants, and a large portion of the populace will continue to make excuses for him.
Hopefully the growing majority of Americans who hate this guy will join with the growing minority of Americans who hate the entire Federal government in demanding some real changes. Refusing to participate in Obamacare would be a good first step.
